About the authors
Dr. Torgeir Fjeld is Head of the Ereignis Center for Philosophy and the Arts, editor-in-chief of Inscriptions and publisher at Tankebanen forlag. He has taught at universities in the UK, USA, Norway, Poland and South Africa, and is the author of Rock Philosophy, Perversion's Beyond and dressage and illusio. Fjeld studies temporality, films, and releasement.
Stefan Chazbijewicz is a film and theatre director, poet, and visual artist living in Warsaw, Poland. He studied at the Polish Film School in Łódź and went on to write and direct for film and television. Chazbijewicz has won a series of awards and prizes for his work, including the best picture award at the Gdynia film festival. Chazbijewicz has lectured on film and narratology with the University of Warsaw and other film schools. He has published two volumes of poetry. Currently he is drawing, painting and writing poetry that interrogates "the reality of salvation," i.e. what we are after transformation.
Professor Wolfgang Schirmacher is a philosopher of media technology. In 1998, Wolfgang Schirmacher founded the Media and Communications division of The European Graduate School, serving as dean and program director until 2015. Heavily influenced by Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, and Heidegger, Schirmacher has coined the interrelated concepts of the homo generator and life techniques, as well as offered his own highly affirmative interpretation of the notion of artificial life.
